The problem with people suggesting a BIG DOLLAR, Short-term contract is that even at 3-years, $90 M …………… that would still have Hamels leaving $60-80 M on the table (not $20 M like Lee), and I don’t know any player that would do that deal ………..why sacrifice big, guaranteed dollars now for the chance that [...]

You mean with RISP specifically. Pick-offs, steals, and CS are not included in OBP. The reason is the 1 sac fly he had. OBP is (hits + walks + HBP) / (ABs + walks + HBP + SF) Since Pierre hasn’t had any walks or HBP’s, but did have one SF, the numerator is the [...]

LoL…That was pretty good Tim! Mets fans are the worst sore losers, aint they? Wish list seems pretty good, except Victorino hitting 18 Hr’s, and Jenkins only popping one more seems a little off (Im hoping). Hopefully he’s up there with Burrells on HR’s. 18 for Vic feels good though! Merry Xmas everyone.

Metsfan is right, that NLCS will never happen because the Mets won’t make the playoffs let alone finish above .500. Enjoy 4th place loser.
