The Phillies had a quiet offseason in terms of picking up new players and are blasted for losing Rowand. But Gillick and Amaro have created solid depth at various positions and in the bullpen. Gillick has learned to make deals and add players within the constraints of our ownership and has done a solid job.I like the addition of Taguchi and Feliz the most. Our outfield has tremendous depth and our infield is the best in the NL and will keep us in contention this year. When final rosters are submitted I think we will have an edge if we go player by player over the Mets.

I agree that these players are essential to our team this year.
