The Phils have a couple things going for them. Besides being 7-0 in arbitration hearings since 1994, Howard has only two years and change of MLB service. I don't think the arbitrators want to set a precedent of giving this large an award to a player so early in his arbitration eligibility. I’m thinking it’ll be the $7 million.
