i think it’s more to prevent calluses on their hands, but you’ve got the gist of it.

i’m just saying that in retalliation to all the mets’ fans attitudes towards the brad lidge injury. as soon as that post came out, on OUR blog, you guys were all over it. the mets will be at full strength by may most likely, and we will beat them then, just like last year. i’m not hoping they die or anything, i’m just trying to wish ill-fortune upon them.

moises alou, jorge posada and several latin players that dont wear batting gloves pee on their hands. supposedly they feel it enhances their grip. personally I dont care if it helps moises hit .330 the only problem is he’s there only half the time. Yes our team is really banged up, so it looks like the phils are the team to beat right now.

not so speedy recovery ? dont; you guys wanna beat the mets at full strength ?

I just want to know how it’s possible that they have so many people injured at one time. And particularly, at this time. Is the work they do in ST so rigorous that their entire team, with the exceptions of Wright and Reyes, can’t play in ST games? What could they have their guys doing down there? Anyway, here’s to a not-so-speedy recovery for all of them.
