That makes me feel better, i didn’t think he was a career minor leaguer but i don’t watch a lot of Reading or Clearwater games to know if they saw something that I wasn’t seeing.

Brad Harman isn’t a “career Minor Leaguer.” He’s a prospect â€” No. 10 on the Phuture Phillies list. He’s 22 and is from Australia, signed as an undrafted free agent. In 2005 he performed well enough in Lakewood to move up to Clearwater, where he spent two more years. Last year he improved there, and went to Reading at age 22. He’s at the right age for his progression, but will be blocked by Utley and Rollins. He has potential to be converted to 3B, but is more likely a trade candidate.

Does anyone know anything really about Harman, I mean is he any good I’ve heard on 950 or 610 i can’t remember that him and bohn are career minor leaguers but I can’t imagine if he’s a career minor leaguer why they’d put him on their 40 man roster then bring him up from Double A to see what he’s got.

The whole things stinks and now the Phillies will not have Rollins for 25 games as a starter because the team buried their head in the sand. I hope April will not come back and bite us yet again because of this but the Phillies will have a hard time winning without Jimmy.

It is ashame that the Phillies didn’t put Rollins on the DL when he was first injured. It’s too bad that Snelling is injured now, but with his injury history I’m not really surprised.

What I really can’t understand is why Bohn and Harman were called up. The Phillies’ AAA aren’t very great but Brandon Watson is putting up better numbers than Bohn. I guess that Harman gets the call because Jason Donald is injured and but I would have expected the Phils to call up Chris Woodward instead.

Now it becomes apparent that this team has no depth at all. tj bohn is like 30 i think, and the other guy ive never heard of. they didnt want to toy with cardenas’ growth by seeing what he can do in the majors either by trying him at shortstop for a game or giving him some major league at bats. they migh tneed to make a move but with what? they dont have pitching to trade. the few good position player prospects they have are too valuable to trade in a situation like this.

The only good side to this story is that it’s happening now, and not in August/September. We can push through this, one annoying game at a time.
