Kendricks ERA is over 5 now, thats cause for a little concern. however, he just needs to do what weve come to expect from him: 6 innings 3 runs. if yorue 5th starter can do that consistently thats not really so bad considering all the horrible pitching out there. thats an issue though because you need someone to bump him to the 5th slot. eaton cannot do that guy and they need someone who can be a solid 4th guy. the 4th starter is actually supposed to be good on a world series team, not average. kendricks ok, but hes a good 5th starter not a 4th.

oh well, they won. so hopefully these concerns will be addressed by the nex time the rotation gets around to kendrick.

nice to see ryan howard mash a little to the opposite field. also, nice to see burrell get a pinch hit hr.

mike- totally agreed. i am sick of them talking all their shit. i cant believe that asshole that came on here yesterday claiming ugly to be better than utley. then he ran away before anyone could argue his points. but one thing we can be sure of is that they will get what is coming to them.

i just said benson gave up 4 runs in 4 innings in AAA. not bad for first time back in a year for a 4-5 era pitcher but hes not ready yet. itll be a while i think. so they need to try something before hes ready because they dont have the time to wait for him. eaton and myers are killing this team. they gotta replace at least one of them ASAP

Great point on Kendrick. Tonight will be a tough game for him. If he can do the normal 6 innings 3 runs, the Phillies have a good chance to win. Oswalt is a tough opponent!

wow, according to yahoo both werth AND burrell won’t be in the lineup tonight. maybe we’ll see bruntlett in left field against his old team? i can’t imagine taguchi has hit well enough to warrant a start.
