Tuesday I arrived home and found a giant package in my mailbox. I opened it and it was a vintage powder-blue Chase Utley jersey. I had no idea who sent this, so I called MLB.com and found it the sender was our faithful owner, Brian Michael. He told me you guys paid for it after I revlealed my recent personal tragedy.
I can’t thank you all enough. The jersey is awesome, and I plan to wear it regularly.
I have to say, since coming aboard here in November it’s been a blast. The site is, in my view, the best place for Phils news and opinion, and that’s a tribute to you guys. We have a great mix of optimists, pessimists and very knowledgeable fans who challenge the norm every day.
That you guys can go out of your way to help me in my time of need shows how tight a group we are here. I’m proud to be a part of your Phillies experience.
