My gf lives in West Philly, so there’s no excuse. She works for a company that lobbies down in DC to stop major corporations from having monopolies like Comcast and Clear Channel and fight for low power FM. Comcast is the devil to her, and it upsets me because I can’t watch the Phillies because of her activism. I’m liberal myself, but I love the Phillies too much and have to put aside my views and get comcast so I can watch them. She’s moving this weekend anyway with my other liberal friend who is a huge Phillies fan and believes the same thing as me, so after this weekend I can watch the Phillies when I’m at her place.

My gf lives in Rochester, NY, so I feel your pain. I missed two weeks worth of games last season when the Phils were starting to make a push. I wound up springing the cash for MLBTv then.

it looks like they are taking him out now. great job by kendrick. pitching wins. looks like theyll get the win here if all goes well. they needed that pitching performance very desperately. i hope the phils can get to harden tomorrow.

I really wish I could have watched this game on TV tonight. Seems like one of the most exciting games of the season. I’ve missed a lot of exciting games from being at my gfs. Hamels 1st CG shut out against the Braves, 20 run game against the Cards, 10 run game against the Jays, and now this one…stupid gf hating on Comcast.

Nice job Kendrick. He should be the player of the game assuming the Phils win since the offense still isn’t doing great. As of late, this type of shutout effort is what the team has needed to win.
