Was at this game. Kendrick pitched great, but the Phils should have won by a lot more… they left a lot of runner on.

Side note : I caught my first foul ball at this one!

They need to turn it around against the Rangers…

i would give up victorino in a trade without thinking twice. he needs to learn to be a good situational hitter or else he will never be a very good major league baseball player.

If we deal for Harang, there’s no doubt Cinci will ask for a package that includes Victorino or Werth – most likely Vic.

theyre going to go all out this year as well. they look like theyll get burnett or sabathia.

i think the phillies would be better served with burnett or lowe (if the dodgers sell) or harden.

i would LOVE to see them go after harang, who will be team controlled past this year. i think more, and more, thats the surprise move they need to make. that guy deals. i wonder who theyll ask for?

Gillick, Amaro, and Montgomery made it pretty clear they’ll get someone. Amero was nonchalant about it, and Gillick and Montgomery made it seem like they’re going to get someone really big. Let’s see what happens.

Id call up carrasco to see if hes the real deal. DEF move myers to setup. gordon needs Dl’d. 15 days. get some rest and try it out before the all star break and rest more during taht week.

they WILL get someone. how long is cliff lee signed for? just curious.

Yeah, the A’s do have a closer in Street, but he blows. The Dodgers don’t even have anyone in their bullpen that has any saves right now…go look it up. Heath Bell might bomb as a closer, it happens sometimes. Why take him out of set up role if he’s really good there? I really can’t see the Brewers trading Sheets at all. I can see the Indians trading Sabathia and taking Myers because of how badly they need a closer.

Just wondering… with Gordon hurting, wouldn’t it make sense to put Myers in his place (in a set-up role) and call up JA Happ from AAA and see how he does in the rotation.

Hall used to have pop…has 10 HR this year… but gives you options to move Victorino or Werth, or let Burrell walk if you need to.
