As i said have some faith…Hammels had trouble..but I had thoughts of turning off the radio when it was 9-3..and had thoughts of you negative a-holes at the time ..but I persevered ,kept listening and low & behold look what happened . ,Dobbs great..Howard all right.Lidge came through…Screw all of the naysayers,.(who are really met fans anyway).

Hey at least we have a chance ..I remember teams here that were so bad here there was no hope..the season would end in april…We have a good nucleus,yea,its not perfect we could use a really good starter,but who?I just hope it stays close into september.

we are still only 2 out…everybody quit crying and direct some energy toward backing the Phills…Kendrick was good last night,Howard hit one,and so what Lidge got tagged for the first time.the mets will not win every game from now on…its just baseball ,momentum goes in small cycles.We are due.

I would care if Reyes was on our team and acting like that. I don’t like watching J-Rolls flip of the bat or the way Howard stares at the shots he makes. Utley does it the right way. He is around to second before the ball is out and keeps up a good pace all the way around the bases. As far as Elbow bumping and all that stuff, that is all good, but being a Hot Dog all the way around the bases just don’t cut it to me. Believe it or not.

I’ve decided tonight that I’m becoming a Giants fan. I want to be a fan of a team that actually has heart and tries. The Giants might suck, but they have heart. They also have Aaron Rowand(one of my favorite Phillies ever), and Tim Lincecum, my current 3rd favorite pitcher(would be favorite if we didn’t have Cole Hamels and Jamie Moyer.) The Phillies are a bunch of heartless, underachieving, hacks. Fuck them. You can hate me all you want for saying this, but this team is garbage. I liked them better in the Francona and Bowa eras when they at least tried to win. Now they’re just a bunch of overpaid primadonna’s.

Yea they need to just let Jimy Williams take over for the rest of the season and see what happens…The Phils last 2 wins were when he was in charge because Manuel was ejected in the Marlins game last friday and the Mets game on Tuesday…We haven’t won a game since before the All-Star break with Manuel in charge the entire game.

i guess if they’re gonna get beaten by the braves, it’s nice that i was my starting fantasy baseball catcher that hit two homers, with one of them being a grand slam, and not anybody else. I feel like the guy in the steve jeltz award picture, especially living in NY.
