Parra has good numbers. I’ve never seen him pitch. Luckily CC wasn’t good last year in the post season. Hopefully it sticks again this year and Sheets gets hurt. Considering they’ll probably make the WC and the NL East will play the WC, that’s what needs to happen.

Burrell is not going to the mets! You see the Mets like signing 37+ players, like Alou who they will give a 4yr contract to like they did with castillo so they can retire as a met. I know this is coming from a met fan, but I do not agree or like alot of the moves they make. And last night when I heard El Duque might be back on his 54th birthday that really pissed me off. Enough already with these old part time pitchers!

Parra is ok, Sheets will get hurt and C.C. Sabathia is the only guy that scares me. Not only can he pitch but he can probably hit clean up. He should of been in the HR Derby! Their bullpen will be their down fall!

Yeah, Sheets could collapse, who knows. Their bullpen is atrocious, but Sheets and Sabathia can eat innings. Para(is that his name) is good too. Something tells me Burrell is going to the Mets. As for Howard, the Phillies will offer him 15 million a year. I can see something like 5 years $75 million. He won’t accept that.

I think burrell is having a great year and he is a met killer. But, I just do not think that is going to happen.

I agree he’s a DH. But lets see how much the market is in 2011. We will see how much Teixeira makes next year. The Brewers have a good rotation but lets see how long their rotation stays healthy!

Oh, I know he won’t make A-Rod money, but he can make 20-25 million a year probably. If Tex gets $23 million a year like he’s asking Howard can get $25 million. Only teams that will pay him that are the Cubs, Yankees, Mets, Red Sox, Dodgers, Giants, and Angels. Only teams that make sense to actually pay him that are the Yankees, Red Sox, and Angels. He’s a DH playing in the NL. Cubs and Brewers are both scary with their starting rotations.

Howard is not making A-Rod money no matter where he goes. Unless his numbers are the same and he can play defense he is not going to make that.

Howard will stay! You really think he wants to leave that stadium? Not unless he goes to Colorado. That stadium is to his advantage and to play on a team every year and having a chance to contend puts the ball in the Phillies court! He would sign for less, I think.

Exactly. As long as Marson isn’t trade then we’re fine. Utley and Rollins will secure the middle of the infield for years to come. Hewitt will come up and play 3rd. Golson, Werth, and someone else will be our outfield for years to come. 1B is a question after Howard walks after 2011.
