Ya, I noticed that as well. Utley has 26 as of the first Washington game and 27 HR as of last night, not 28.

Wheeler insightful?????? BS! Listen, reallyl listen to what he says. He is very smooth but he is very inaccurate in everything he says. I catch him all of the time saying something to the effect “Oh, that was 5 fastballs in a row”. He is a bag a BS! Change, FB, curve, FB, FB……..5 fastballs in a row. Really people don’t just sit there and watch the game. Analyze the game and you will be amazed at how inaccurate and ridiculous he really is.

“He has such low batting average because he is just not getting any hits”.

Now that is incredibly insightful, right? Pay attention people!

Exterminate that little coch roach Wheeler!

Too many guys in the Phil’s broadcast booth. When Harry the K goes, bring back Scott Graham, split play by play with TMac and Graham (two beautiful play-by-play announcers I might add (especially Graham (he’s a Parliament man))) and you split the color with Wheeler and Andersen, the stat guy and the purist and that would be perfect. Sarge sucks, he’s just using the Phillies to prep for a career with ESPN like Kruk did, except he’s nowhere near Kruk.

I feel like wheels is the only that can ever relate something in a game to something from the past… and give an example of it. He either has a much better memory, or can find his notes much quicker than all the other guys combined

I like LA because he’s a baseball purist. He just says what’s on his mind and doesn’t sugarcoat it!

I can’t stand Chris Wheeler.

Harry still has a great voice, but he sounds grumpy most of the time.

Sarge has definitely grown on me! He was terrible at the beginning of last year, but he’s gotten much better.

LA is old school thats why i like him. mi believe in old school announcers in baseball who know what the game is about and dont tolerate new age fanciness or antics

Wheeler is without a doubt the most insightful commentator they have.. don’t know how much that is worth, but he is the only one woeth listening to

Harry the K should do radio only.. Sarge is whack… Tmac is going to take over, and I think he’s done a nice job, and I like Larry Anderson, but more because he’s like a “fan” and just says whats on his mind.. like him saying they needed to put one in Reyes’ neck two weeks ago

Yeah Burrell’s definitely not a gold glove, but he is way too good of a player to get subbed at the end of games. Obivously Charlie Manuel’s a MLB manager and I’m not so he knows more about baseball than I do, but it just seems ridiculous to keep an all-star caliber guy on the bench late in games, especially when he’s not later career Barry Bonds-like terrible in the outfield.

Jayson Werth’s “miscue” in LF was embarrassing – it should have been an error. Why in the hell does Cholly insist on pulling Pat The Glove in late innings? Awesome assist Pat!

Can someone please exterminate Chris Wheeler. He is the most annoying commentator on the planet! That pitch that Flores jacked was not “high in the zone”!!!! It was at his knees! He says that inaccurate BS all of the time!

You right about the diving catches Phil. Burrell is nowhere near a gold glover because he’s too slow to get to most balls out there, but when he does he does the simple things and catches the ball well. But he’s a below average OF because of his range. Still, he should never be pulled late in a game.

charlie’s pulling burrell for a defensive replacement and I think pat has got a serious gold glove shot. this hasn’t made sense all year, and yet they continue to take him out.
