I was wondering if anyone knew anything about these professional sports ? I am thinking about signing up for this sports handicapping service. It looks pretty promising and its backed by a clickback guarantee which means your going to get your money back if you don't like the system or it simply doesn't work. Has anyone tried a system like this?

well, i guess you have toi give up one good prospect to get anything at all now. relievers are easy to find so its ok that outman is in the deal. ive never even heard of matthew spencer, just that hes an outfielder.

Hmm. Might not be too bad. Depends on what the whole deal is. Sherrill would be an excellent setup man here. Cabrera would be the same or better than Blanton.

I think an Orioles fan posted on MLBTR that it’s being thrown around in Baltimore. They would ask for Donald, Drabek and an A-ball pitcher that I’m not too familiar with. I think Cabrera is an arbitration guy and I’m not sure what Sherril’s contract is, but he’s like 32, so they should look to get prospects and continue to rebuild.

well as someone who lives and work in New York, I can honestly say he’s the best mayor we’ve had in decades. Seriously. The dude gives tens of millions of dollars a year to charity and doesn’t take a salary. The city is much, much better than it was years ago. I’m just saying don’t throw out random lines like that when you don’t really know what you’re talking about.
But I agree, we’ll keep it to baseball and talk about how much the Phillies are going to get fleeced for Blanton.

Geoff, I agree that we should ignore the Mets trolls, but your line “they should put Michael Bloomberg in prison for the things he’s done” WHAT?!? New York is cleaner and safer then it’s ever been and the guy doesn’t even take a salary. How could anyone argue with what he’s doing? I agree that theres basically no way to win the WS this year unless some miracle happens. lTherefore, I dont want to urinate away some top prospects. If they were 7 games up and made a run at CC or Harden then thats one thing, but they didnt. They failed the interleague test miserably. So I want to develop these young prospects and start bringing them up in the near future.

you do that so you dont have to waste money on the adam eatons and the geoff jenkins of the world.

A big splash in free agnecy for a big starter would be nice but well deal with that when it comes. For now, just give me a cheap innings eater. I cant beleive im saying that but thats how far its gone. and go get someone who can run fast and get on base.

Oh man, I’d take Cain in a heart beat. There’s a solid #3 maybe even #2 guy. Maybe Donald, Golson, and another 2 lesser prospects for Wynn and Cain. I’d be down with that.

Drabek was a #1 pick for us.. and he has the best curveball in the system… even at like 19 years old !!!

Keep him.. its time for the Phillies to try keep their prospects rather then dump them for pitchers with ERAs around 5

They aren’t winning the World Series this year, so take advantage of teams that are selling and make yourself stronger… but don’t go crazy as buyers, either.. they need to be smart and set themselves up for a nice run at the top of the NL East

Cain has more upside than Blanton.. and they could use Golson and Donald since Randy Winn and Omar Vizquel can’t play by the bay forever. That makes more sense to me

I don’t know that he has a strong enough arm to play 3rd..

Blanton is definitely an upgrade over what we have… his ERA scares me though, and I don’t think he’s worth top prospects.
