hahaha where’s that ahole Mets fan now? Mets get BLOWN AWAY by the Cubs tnight, Phillies rock the Braves (no surprise), and oh, what’s this, deja vu? No, just another year watching the better team win and the Mets fans whine about what happened. lol. Over rated from the start. I still am sure the Mets feel us breathing. I concede that *you* don’t feel it, METS guest poster. You are probably rock solid in your convictions. That’s good. Admirable even. Unlike the team you support, you didn’t catch your wife in bed with the UPS driver and have to suppress the crushing feelings of doubt and imminent betrayal that follow ever after. Your insecurities are manageable, but I have to believe that Jose Reyes is wondering if he’s going to choke again this fall. And David Wright is wondering the same thing about him. And let us not even speak of Aaron Heileman captaining your bullpen.

Come on. “Seven games up with seventeen to play.” How can you POSSIBLY think this one is in the bag in late August? Why is this year different? See? I’m getting to you already. That whisper in the back of your mind is getting louder.

And Truth, I’m not fickle. I was not one of the “giving up” posters you reference, so I’m entitled to make the “breathing” comment.

The Mets face Randy Wolf today. In the parlance of our METS guest, I believe he “owns” the Amazins. We wish him good luck.

I agree with the consensus. The Phils have now won 5 of 6, but the majority of folks here gave this team up for dead after the loss on Thursday to the Nats. Meanwhile, the Mets have been winning like crazy, and getting production from everyone outside of Duaner Sanchez, but finally lose a lopsided game last night. Now, suddenly, someone thinks the Phils are “breathing down the necks” of the Mets. Can we be any more fickle? So, let me guess, if the Mets win today and the Phils lose it means the Phils are all but eliminated again, right?

Let’s talk trash when we wrap up the division. Otherwise, let’s concentrate on keeping this team on it’s current role and allow the Mets to self-destruct on their own.

I went today, they roughed up kershaw and cole looked nice overall. solid win. pat was really hitting the ball nicely today.

this team is so bizarre. dead for months and then they drop 8 and 9 on the dodgers back to back. good start to this 4-game series.
