There’s a pretty distinct line between telling Mets fans they live in their parents’ basement and saying someone’s father raped and abandoned their mother. If you’re having trouble finding it, you probably shouldn’t post at all.

Regarding living in the past, I’d say the same thing to Mets fans.. but we’re all scumbags, dirtbags, no-class neanderthals… so why bother?

We’re New Yorkers (even if we’re displaced and some numbskull is about to say I live in my father’s basement in Princeton). We’ll embrace any derogatory label you try to pin opn us and shove it where only your proctologist will find it. Only thing you can do is bend over and crack a smile.
