The thing that gets me is the mets and phils are fighting to win a bad division .They don’t have a chance in hell of winning against the brewers or cubs. Both teams can’t match up with the starters or bullpens of the cubs .

Oh and BTW that guy…..I have been a Mets fan for close to 40 years and Ibm pretty damn proud of it.I rooted for guys like Pat Zachray,Dave Kingman,Lee Mazzilli,88 vs the Dodgers killed me as well as “The best team money can buy” with Bonilla,Saberhagen,Anthony Young,Kevin McReynolds…..you get my point.I am not one of those “Johnny Come Lately” Mets fans who thinks its the fashionable thing to do because they aren’t gona see October.

hes hitting .250 11hr 44 rbi.. not bad for this late in the season

guess what? hes ALSO under contract, cheaply, for next season as well…inetesting…..hes s left fielder. either they think burrell will leave or theyll move howard and keep burrell to move to first.very interesting. so at elast we have a serviceable body there for next season if they want to keep him.

phils picked up stairs from toronto
