I don’t have a recipe. I can just give you ingredients. I just eyeball stuff. Here goes.

ingredients:
beef
eggs
locatelli cheese
parsley
salt
bread
black pepper
chopped garlic

directions:
put beef in a big bowl
put in 1 egg for every pound of beef you use plus 1. example 2 lbs would be 3 eggs 3 lbs 4 eggs etc.
put in 2 pieces of bread for every lb you use. Wet the bread really well and then drain it.
Put a tablespoon of chopped garlic for every lb of beef.
Then just put in some pepper, salt, and parsley.
Cover all of it with locatelli cheese so it’s covered pretty well.
Mix it very very very well.
Take a small ball of it and roll it up and flatten it a little bit so the middle cooks better.
Fry them up in olive oil.

There you go.

man has this post gone all over the place. geoff REALLY loves the word esoteric apparently. i find that very didactic of him. as for the dark knight, while i liked it a lot, i do think it’s a bit overrated. i don’t like bale’s performance as batman, he got better as bruce wayne but somehow got worse as batman. and it’s not just the voice either (which was fine in the first one, no reason to mess with it), it’s the lack of the obsession over his parents death in his performance. i just don’t feel it. i think it was in one comic where alfred said “he’s been spending the past 30 years of his life trying to stop those two bullets” which totally sums up batman’s character. i didn’t feel that in this movie which is also largely nolan’s fault. i also agree that nolan can’t direct an action scene to save his life, which was my main problem with the first movie. and the story did get a little convoluted at times.

but everything about the joker, from heath ledger’s performance, to the writing, to the directing, was brilliant. gary oldman was once again the perfect jim gordon. aaron eckhart was great was both harvey dent and two face; this was another character and story arc that they did a near perfect job with. loved the special effects on his face too. michael caine was a very good alfred, i thought a bit better than the last movie. the story, when it was flowing along smoothly, was very good. basically it’s just not a perfect movie, but it’s a very good one made great by a legendary adaptation of the joker.

as for the mayor, he’s not wearing eyeliner. the actor that plays him, nestor carbonell, naturally looks like that. check him out in any other role he’s been in (i know him from lost), that’s just how his eyes look. you can check it on the faqs for the movie on imdb if you don’t believe me.

as far as i know, from my experience, what i did worked just fine. its standard. the one i bought from walmart interfaces with the tv perfectly.

its all about knowing how to cook when you live on your own. you can save mad money that way.

OK so the back of the PS3 just has a standard HDMI connector that you can use any old HDMI cable with?

It doesn’t require a special HDMI cable with a connector that only the PS3 uses like they did with the component video output?

The reason I ask is because I ordered a standard HDMI cable and didn’t really think that the PS3 might have a different “special” connector that a standard cable won’t plug into.

I bought one at walmart for 15 bucks that works just fine. it fits in the ps3 as well as the tv just fine. crystal clear everything with the ps3/blu rays i play on it. looks just fine. the ps3-brand cable is liek 80 bucks +

Mike I’ve been finding recently that girls aren’t cleaner than guys anymore. They also don’t cook. I’ve lived with girls in every place I ever lived in in this city, and they never do dishes and don’t clean up after themselves. None of them knew how to cook either.

we had a shore house in sea isle a few years ago… half guys half girls…. and living with girls is awesome.. unless you like sticking to the floor when you walk, and not being able to sit down most places in your house
