While the Phillies pursued Reds catcher David Ross, Toss Zolecki is reporting he won’t be heading to Philly. Instead, the Red Sox seem more likely to sign the new free agent who cleared waivers.
Ross was hitting .231 with 3 HR and 13 RBI for the Reds this season.
