While I'm sure he enjoyed a starting role in years past, does he believe he better serves a team like the Phils in the bullpen, and if so, does he envision himself in the next few years in that role? Also, what does he think of the Phils, and what are his interests in returning to them long-term, even if it is a bullpen role like he currently has?

Ask Chad what his long-term plans are. Durbin comes in 3rd.Although I could probably guess what his reply will be, I would ask Chad if he would rather be starting than relieving.

Brian Michael – speak for yourself, because my favorite relievers are RJ Swindle and Les Walrond! Or you can click on my name and it will take you there as well. How it works is that the most updated show will play until a new one is done (hence next Saturday). So if you clicked on my name right now, it will play last week's show automatically until tomorrow's is complete. Hope I didn't confuse you too much. Let me know if you have any other questions.

When the show is done, that link provided above will go right to it. He has worked hard, watched and listened.
At the beginning of the season when people were being critical about the signing, I remember blogging saying give Chad a chance and you will be surprised.Go Phils - lets hope Eaton and JD Durbin get back on track.
People do not truely understand how stressful and demanding being a major league pitcher is. I only know from watching the ups and downs and the work taken to be successful that I have seen in Chad.Joe

I am sorry I was in one of those lunch time silly moods.

It has been great seeing Chad have such a great year with the Phillies.<br

I won't be available to listen to it live.Since I'm both a Tigers and a Phillies fan, can you possibly ask him what he thought about the whole Detroit thing - being non-tendered after having a pretty good season with them? I know my co-workers & I thought it was really odd when they kept less talented players on the roster. Anyways, it appears it actually worked out for the best for him (other than not starting). It definately did for the Phils.

A question for you Eric – can you post the interview somewhere? Could you ask him if he feels more comfortable as a middle relief (6th and 7th) type guy, or in the role he currently is in as a set-up guy. Also, make sure he knows he has been a savior and he better be in red pinstripes next year and years to come. Thanks a lot.

Hi Eric,

Thanks for this opportunity.
