One thing I’m sure no one wants to see is Burrell out there on muscle relaxers-yikes!

Not sure, Georgie… I mean, that back could turn Burrell into a cigar store Indian.

Even though Pat’s really stunk it up the last couple months, this isn’t good because our other options are Geoff Jenkins and Matt Stairs who aren’t any better.

Burrell is already a cigar store indian, except instead of smoking, he chews tobacco.
Bad time for an injury to pop up. I think he will be alright, they may just have to start bringing in his defensive replacement in the 6th inning now.

I’d love to see Dobbs, Vic, and Werth in the outfield in Game 1.

I’m guessing it would be Stairs in RF, not Dobbs. And the way they are sorta giving the runaround on this situation, that’s my bet on what will happen. Stairs tomorrow and then Burrell hopefully back for CC. This is a big time loss for us.

i’m not sure if this is a big deal. we probably wouldn’t have even heard anything about this if it wasn’t the magnifying glass of the playoffs.

I doubt he’ll play. From reports it sounded as if he was in serious pain. I say put Golson on the roster and drop Jenkins. We already have enough LH.
