Tim; Great Stuff on the Division Champ Phillies.

Very rarely in my 50 years of following the Phillies has it been as satisfying as the last few days. Our guys proved that last season was not the aberration that the Mets claimed. Yes fans, the Phillies ARE the team to beat. Let’s get to the big show this year — the World Series!

I was there!!

Marson looked great. His first ML homerun, his first hit, threw out a runner. For a catcher, Marson has good speed. he also blocked balls in the dirt well, and handled the pitching staff well.

Wow, the Mets are absolutely terrible.

Bring on the Brewers, and now we will avoid Sabathia in game one. If he pitched game 2 it would be on 3 days rest, but he has done that before. At least we only have to see him once in the series.

nationals#1, it’s a rookie hazing thing. They did it as a joke, they ignored him a few seconds and then all piled on him and congratulated him after 30 seconds or so.

Hey I didn’t get to watch the game, but my brother said nobody congratulated marson after his home run. He said it was because nobody likes him, but then I come on here and Tim wrote about it being “priceless”? Can someone explain what happened?

35 games ago at 68-59, I posted that 92 wins would do the trick and the Phils needed to go 24-11. I can’t believe they actually did it. What a final month.
Brett Myers needs to rebound from his consecutive lackluster outings. If that happens I like our chances.

After reading the recap, now I wish I’d watched this game.
And poor So Taguchi. He waited too long to remember how to hit and now he’s going to miss the postseason.
