Tim and SJ….I will still lurk around here. during the winter and 2009.It comes as an honor,ESP from Tim to have read what I have read,Thanx.Plus SJ……Thanx for the condolonces and good words but don’t feel sorry,Mets didn’t deserve the playoffs….end of 2008 Mets,end of story.

Miner, you and I have had good convos on here. Tim is right, you are one of the classier ones.

I’ll repeat a post I made on another thread for you.

I do sincerely feel sympathy for the Mets and Shea from the standpoint of how their stadium is ending. Similar to how we closed the Vet with the Eagles and Phils. Eagles losing that NFC Championship game the way they did to the Bucs and the Phils getting eliminated several days before the the ending of the Vet.

I know there are a lot who wouldn’t agree with me on that one.

Welcome to the bitter end.No finger pointing today…….THATS Tomorrow.However its a day of mourning for me not only for this season that never was,but the last time we’ll ever see the old girl Shea Stadium.I hate the Fn Marlins.Shea will live forever.
