Hey Phils fans, I know you hate us Mets fans on your blog. But, I just gotta say as much as I am disappointed and would love to be up 5 games right now, I have to tip my cap to the fightin Phils. Moyer and Myers both pitched brilliantly, and you clearly deserved to win both games and have shown so far this series that you are the better team. For how much I like what I see in Evans and Murphy, I wish the Mets had someone like Dobbs. I feel every time I see him play me jacks a crucial homerun. Even if the Mets lose tonight it isnt the end of the world, and it will hopefully just make for a more exciting final strecth. Should be a great pitching dual tonight

CT, I’d say Moyer, because he held them in check. And also considering how he bounced back from his last start against the Mets when he got rocked.

would’ve been nice to shut them out and demoralize them even more, but i’ll take it. great hitting by Ruiz and Dobbs today, and Moyer probably pitched one of his best games this season. Not sure who I’d nominate for the Ashburn… probably Moyer.
