I’m switching back and forth between that and the football game. I’d be watching the baseball game more if either of these 2 teams had a playoff chance left. Shame they didn’t have Boston @ New York for the final series of the year.

I am glad the Marlins are in the rear-view mirror.

I agree with you mike m. Werth is probably not an everyday player, but I think if he could get his average up to a respectable number against righties(maybe .255), and mash lefties, then he could be a decent everyday guy.

As far as Jenkins goes, they can not go into next season with him in the starting lineup. The need to get someone else in there, and fast.

I would like to see Golson get a shot to make the MLB club next year, but in no way would I start him. I would love to have him off the bench as a pinch runner, and an occasional spot starter. Our bench has basically no speed, and he would be an asset to the club.

The people on this site if you think Werth is everyday player. He can’t hit right hand pitching.I worry the phillies will let Burrell go. And try a outfield of Werth,Victorino, jenkins and golson god forbid .

Hopefully Dobbs will be fine, but like I been telling everyone..The Mets are going to fold. Don’t be surprised if the Brew Crew wins the wild card. The Mets have a VERY tough schedule coming up, and the way their bullpens been playing, there in a wind full of trouble.
