Stop with the crying. It’s a 4 out save: See Papelbon, Jonathan. Rivera, Mariano, etc…

We need him to be a 4 out man at this point in the season. There are 15 games left and any lead we have has to be locked down. Who cares about tomorrow, worry about winning today at this point.

How have we underused him?

Don’t you remember that he made over 100 pitches warming up at the all-star game? He wasn’t the same for weeks. We should be careful not to overuse him if you want him to pitch his best. Not having a setup man is the problem and using Lidge in the 8th isn’t the answer. If we use Lidge in the 8th he probably won’t be available for the next day.
