In 2002, Heidi Strobel Hamels was a contestant on “Survivor: The Amazon.” During one episode she stripped naked for peanut butter and Oreos and later parlayed this scene into an appearance in the August 2003 edition of Playboy.
Heidi graduated from Drury University with a Bachelor’s Degree in physical education, secondary education and physiology. She has her master’s degree in physical education from West Chester University. Prior to Survivor, she was a P.E. and Health teacher.
Heidi met Cole Hamels in 2004, when she was throwing out the first pitch at a minor league game in Florida. The two married on New Year’s Eve 2006.
