i so sick of the i hate the joe blanton trade talk. we were on burnett’s no trade list, and if he wanted to leave toronto so bad he would have been traded.

Nothing to do with the Phillies per say but it looks like the Brewers are going to pitch CC’s arm off in an attempt to get the wild card.

They’re pitching him on 3 days rest two consecutive times.

Most draft experts say that the Phils 2008 draft was high risk/reward. Some say they they should’ve played it safer with their top two picks (Hewitt/Collier), but only time will tell.

I don’t have a great feeling about the remaining two games with the Fish. They’ve won 9 in a row and still feel like they have a shot at this thing, but they NEED to sweep the Phils.
