The Phils need to be patient at the plate and get the bullpen in the game fast.

For all Phillies Phans. Believe me, there will be NO sweep this series. At the end of these next three games, the METS will be up by 2 games or by 4 games. That means one of the teams will win 2 of 3. As a met fan I am very comfortable leaving this series with a 2 game lead. As Phillie fans are you, or is a sweep the only option. For the Mets, they don’t need a sweep.

I do think the Phils take two outta three this weekend in Shea. Maybe it’s because I’m a Phils fan and I just wanna set myself up for more disapointment but it just seems like whenever this team is down they get back up! It’s not just one or two players that needs to step up either, it’s the whole team. They won the division last year cause they played as a team and I believe the time is now and they will respond to the adversity. We will always be with this team through thick and thin so lets all stop with this “the end” bullshit and believe that this team will play up to their potential for the first time in 3 months. Go Phils!

This is it. Win or go home. I didnt think the season was going to come down to these three games. The only other thing we have to for is the wild card. I know im having a party to watch the game tonight, win or loose it will all be a blur. My heart says 3 game sweep. My brain says 2 of 3. I have a feeling the players are really going to step up this weekend.

The Phils’ need to work the counts with the Mets’ starting pitchers so they can get into the bullpen as early as possible. The Mets’ bullpen has thrown something like 17 straight scoreless innings coming into the series, but facing the Phillies’ bats who always own them is going to be a different story. The more Duaner Sanchez and Aaron Heilman we see, the better the Phils will be.
