I’m just getting around to posting these now, but here are some pictures from my trip to Chicago last week. I was fortunate enough to stay at the Westin hotel on the Magnificent Mile where the players and front offer were as well. I saw Pat Gillick getting Starbucks one morning, had drinks with Greg Lukinski and Scott Palmer and a bunch of Phillies fans in the hotel bar and even saw 2 older ladies hitting on Rudy Seanez as he ate dinner by himself. I also ran into a ton of Phillies fans at the bars before and after Friday’s game – you remember that one, where Ryan Howard was called out at first? Here is a video of Charlie Manuel arguing that call (I spill my beer in disgust as it segues to Sarge singing the seventh-inning stretch.)
