the problem with romero is that he only has a fastball. if he had a better slider like the one billy wagner had in his heyday romero would be one of the most dominant pitchers in the game.

I think dumping Romero is one of the few bad moves the Red Sox have made lately….. they are usually right on the money with getting rid of players but they made a big mistake on him.
I am sure glad we have him .
By the way..I wish I was Chris for that game….that must have been awesome.

Myers is one of my favorites on the field…off the field he should be in jail for beating his wife. Just because he’s a baseball player making millions doesn’t mean he should get away with beating his wife.

Yea it was really awesome! I’m not going to lie though..A few players seemed like they had bats stuck up their asses (Howard especially). JC actually invited me back down on Monday for the final homestand game against the Braves. I even asked him about the fallout that he had with Coste last week on the field…He laughed and said ”It was over a pitch selection”, and said that he has a diffrent way of showing his emotions than the other players. He said that him and Coste are actually really close.

its funny that we idolize these guys.. who are sometimes our own age, or even younger.. and if you meet them, it turns out they are just regular dudes, that happen to be better as baseball then the rest of us…

My bestfriend is cousins with JC, and she got us free tix for saturdays game, and we sat with the players families..Cole hamels wife, Howards family, etc..It was awesome. After the game we were invited in the back (family room) to meet the players. It was the greatest expierience I ever had. I met alot of Brewers players too as well…I had the best time of my life. Not alot of people expierience that, and JC is a really humble guy. I see where he get’s his success from.
