Maybe we can build a rivelry between the Mets and Phillies in the future it would be fun but the Phillies have to be good for a while and that just had not happened yet. Maybe next year! He said today's starter throws an average of 3 more pitches per inning than they did 20 years ago, so if you extrapolate that over a season using 7 innings for an average starter, that's like 600 more pitches in a 30 game season.
