Please we are all phillies fans. don’t belittle yourself and believe that writers stupid article. First of all does anyone think that Sabathia will settle for less than Santana. the bidding will start at twenty five million.I have heard rumors that the mets will try to trade beltran to the dodgers, and will take his money to sign cc Sabathia and rodruiz there payroll was increased to one hundred and seventy million.With there new stadium.

The only thing I can see is if the Phillies offered 20 million and the Yankees offered 21 million with the same amount of years. I think he’d want to stay in the NL because he hits and he does really like Charlie. Chances are the Phillies FO isn’t throwing out that kind of money for Sabathia, but god would it make us the best team in baseball.

Yeah, I read it Phil. It looks like the writer was trying to make any possible connection with the Phils and Sabathia. There’s no way we can afford him – it was just to get our hopes up like the philly media did with Manny Ramirez. Besides, I find it hard to believe that CC would choose spending time with his old pal Charlie over a truck load of money in LA or NY.

I’m concerned over who is throwing on Wednesday. I’m going go out on a limb and say I would start Eaton. He’s made two starts vs. the Braves this year and won both 7-3 and 6-3. Kendrick stinks and Moyer and Hamels are throwing in the other games, so Happ would be starting 3 straight lefties.

speaking of eagles chants … one night i was walkin home from work right when Prince Charles was visiting philly for the first time or something and right about broad and pine, there he was going to a theater and was welcomed by about 150 duders and a rousing Eagles chant.
