Lots of people asking for out of town Phils friendly bars. Anyone know one in Northampton, MA? Hopeless, but that’s where I am. I was 30 in 1980, but still went to bed in my Phillies hat and hope to do the same tonight.

Check out this article. My friend and I are in it about halfway down. The guy interviewed us before Howard hit the home run and it was still 2-1. We were kind of pessimistic at that time. It was an amazing experience, being there last night. I saw three Rays fans all night – they were wise to keep a low profile. If we could finish this thing off tonight it would be great.

I have long felt that the national media for the most part hates Philly too. I mean, Rollins was out but hey, they missed another call. And Buck is like, “another call goes against the Rays!” I mean, come on. The guys on Baseball Tonight analyzed four controversial calls and they all agreed 3 of them should have went for the Phightins.

The national media loves the Rays and they are a good story but they are looking overmatched and the bright lights are getting to them. This is our year and this nucelus was also built in-house, so let’s give us some credit and leave the Rays out of the spotlight just once!

In 1980 when its was two outs. The philadelphia k-9 unit came onto the field. only a hand full of people got on the field and guickly security tackled them. Let win the game first it isn’t over. I saw a guy get riuin on a series betting and thinking it was over he keep betting the team he had in the series who lost three in a row. and he lost a bundle it ruin him/ so lets not put the cart before the horse. We need one more win. And today we should ignore the mets and rays fans don’t stup to there level

Is this really happening? I mean, I don’t know how or what to feel? I mean, I don’t remember 1980 and in 1993 we were always battling back. This time we are ahead after a convincing defeat of the baby Rays last night.

We have Hollywood Hamels tonight and I am confident, but I need to see that 27th out before I can really celebrate. I don’t know, it is all surreal to me but I believe.

I will be cheering down here in DC and hope to be at a parade this week in Philly. If we win tonight, the parade would probably be Wednesday, right? I doubt they would do it tomorrow.

I agree with Bill H – I am so sick and Ph*cking tired of the FOX team talking crap on the Phils. I actually told my niece that I had hoped since they talked crap on us while in TB that perhaps they could come to CBP and actually give us pops. I guess FOX is totally biased and tonight I need to find a way to maybe turn the TV down and get XM Radio to call the game for me! I damn sure would rather hear Harry call the end of this one rather than Joe Buck!

With the Rollins/Longoria tag, the ump was right over the play and not a single camera angle could show definitive evidence eitherway. It’s very possible Longoria swiped over Rollins butt but the minute the Phils get a break it’s considered foul play. I really am starting to believe Philly is debatably the most hated sports city in the US.
