Where did those files come from? Do they have harry kalas’ calls there too for games this series?

Not the audio, but watching the video, does anyone else notice that on Shane’s victory lap, as he’s turning around second, he shoots a glance and a smirk towards Russell Martin / home plate? Am I making more out of that than it is?

I would doubt there is a Harry Kalas version since TV was a national broadcast and Harry didn’t call the 8th inning on the radio.

Oops, Stairs is up there now.

The audio for Mccarver and Buck is atrocious. They sounded so disappointed on both home run calls.

    Soooo awesome.

    Sam,

Harry only calls certain innings over the radio. He was not calling the game during last night’s HR barrage inning. Since FOX is televising the games, Harry is not calling any games on TV during his non-WPHT innings, so these calls are the only other ones other than LA’s announcers and the FOX idiots.

I didn’t bother listening to the Dodger’s announcers because I doubt they have the energy that Anderson and Franske do.

I just rewatched the video of Shane hitting his HR. I don’t know exactly who he’s looking at, but I think he’s giving a look to someone, basically saying, “F*ck you LA”. I love that stuff.

I know they’re homers (which they can be since it’s a local call), but man, I love how Larry is trying to hold back his adulation because he wants Franzke is going through the call.

    “Get! Get!”

Amazing. Thanks!! How can I make it my new ringtone?

It’s almost like Larry choked on his coffee or something. He just sat there, made weird sounds, and giggled like a little kid. I love it!

Does anyone have audio files of “The Double Play” or “The Grand Slam”? I would love to add them to my LA post-season MP3 collection ;)

Yea, Jenkins and Manuel were giving each other awkward high-5s.

Still think Burrell is the best. His reactions to big plays are priceless. Shows the guy really, really wants to win in Philly.

Love Larry and Scott. Won’t be the same without Harry whenever he goes but I think we’ll be in good hands.

It wasn’t awkward, it was cute, I love how excited Jenkins gets when he’s not even a core player. And yeah, Burrell just looks like a little boy during big plays/hits, it’s adorable.

I love how giddy Larry sounds.

Haha, L.A’s call is absolutely priceless. I don’t know if he’s clapping, coughing, speechless etc. Just noises basically.

Looked to me like Victorino was glaring at the LA dugout after his two-run shot. And he had that, “throw-at-my-head, fine-me-all-you-want, Hawaiian-Punch” look. Priceless.

News: Pitcher Kevin Foster, who threw 6.2 innings for the ’93 Phils, died at age 39.

Thanks, I hoped someone would post these.

    Sad news about Foster.

Where are these from? I might go ahead and download the entire games to listen to on my ipod during the winter if they go on to the WS.

Burrell and Jenkins were so excited, it was amazing to see that on TV and the radio call was just what I wanted…the damn fox announcers sure know how to suck the fun out of a playoff rally.

Anyone have a link to some of these plays on Youtube? I haven’t been able to find them, and I was at the Allman Brothers/Dead concert last night, had to follow the game on my phone.

Sam, you would have to purchase MLB Gameday to listen to the entire archived game.

You can download the game from iTunes for like $1.99 or something though if you have an iPod that has video. I haven’t looked for awhile, but they have tons of important games from throughout the year you can buy.

Chase, I may be able to help you out in that regard.

I love how “old” it sounds… with the crowd noise in the background.. the only thing its missing is the sound of typewriters going..

Dobbs’ reactions to big plays are pretty awesome too.

Tim this is great to have the hometown calls here. Where do you get them from?
Is there anyway you can put any Audio you have on a page on the site so we can download them, or at least listen to them.
