But i like that they are picking moments to be aggressive. Stay the Course!

Yea Vic shouldn’t have gone because Upton was only like 10 feet from the infield…but the catcher actually bobbled the ball and didn’t have control… so the run should have scored. 2. I agree that Charlie’s caution was not good because of repetitive stranded runners
3. Yes, why test a shallow field throw on a diamond with no imperfections other than its not real grass
4. Charlie should stick with what got us here, but a good general always adjusts his plan of attack during the battle and Charlie didn’t
5. Yes, yes, yes – I missed Dobbs last night

1. If only we could have Hamels for three games in this series. It’s about as likely as the Phanatic not taunting the Rays when they get to town<br

If Upton's throw is a foot in either direction Vic scores.

300, I said the same thin earlier on another thread. It showed that they were going to be aggressive. If Upton doesn't make the throw exactly like he did, then Vic scores no problem and we aren't even talking about this. Keep the defense on their toes. Make them make the play.

I liked when Vic tried to score. It showed that they were going to be aggressive. Love it! Dobbs can hit, but in a 1 run game, on the turf, I gotta have Pedro at 3rd base. He's a fantastic fielder, and don't forget he had 2 hits yesterday.you NEVER replace offense for defense late in a 1 run game. Burrell was taken out, for defense....Charlie isn't gonig to take out one of the best fielding 3rd basemen in baseball.

No way man…<br

I know he can't hit, but you never know. Bartlett hit 1 HR all season and then he took Beckett deep. You never know with Bruntlett... and lets not fool ourselves anymore. This isn't smoke, mirrors and huge offense, it's pitching and defense. Guys like Bruntlett are important for that... even feliz, i take his offense as a side dish to that D.

I just like seeing Bruntlett out there in the field. Then you have a good matchup coming up but I thought it would be Vic, not Werth. Correct me if I'm wrong. Either way, Charlie shouldn't be afraid to make a bold move this series. He's done it before (Ruiz at third).

Yeah bring in Dobbs and at least make them use Price and take out Balfour. He had a lefty warming up every inning after Kaz came out to be ready for Dobbs. It'll be like that all series.

Maddon isn’t stupid. If you don't send Vic and Worth pops up people are wondering why we didn't send our fastest runner? And I would of brought in Dobbs but then they would of just brought in Price so either way you have lefty lefty or righty righty. But i ould rahter have Dobbs hitting than Bruntlett. But hey guess what... we won either way.

I think Manuel called a good game.
