Using your theory, Myers wouldn’t have pitched in the playoffs because he was COLD in his last two starts of the regular season.. we wouldn’t have Hamels going in the game #1′s.. since he’s “not an Ace”… and Madson would have been outright released.. so Im not sure who our setup man would be..

just relax.. Moyer hasn’t looked sharp, but you can’t give up on him.. and especially not for Joe Blanton (who I was about the only defender of two weeks ago.. because he was better than what we had).. and he looked GREAT against the Brewers, but in a do-or-die game I take Moyer over him 100 times out of 100

Balance is basic to walking properly with crutches. To maintain your balance, keep your body in good alignment with your head held high, shoulders back and stomach and buttocks in. Using crutches takes practice. Some situations that require extra care are getting into and out of a chair, using stairs and walking through doorways. Here are some guidelines for using crutches in these situations.

Getting into a Chair

Get as close to the chair as possible and turn so that your back is facing the chair. Position crutches so that you can hold both in the hand of your uninjured side. Slide your injured leg forward holding the arm or the back of the chair and the crutches for support. Gently lower yourself into the chair.

Getting out of a Chair

Slide to the edge of the chair with your injured foot flat on the floor. Holding both crutches in the hand on your injured side, lean forward and grip the chair arm or back with your other hand. Push yourself up with your uninjured foot or leg. Transfer one crutch to the other side. Keep your injured foot or leg off the floor with the flexed knee if possible.

It’ll be a second time around on Lowe within a couple days on short rest. I think good things.

Did you watch the replay’s and see where the pitches were that they hit?? Furcal’s was off the dirt to get it started.. Either just barely pulled one past Utley because he was over towards 2nd.. Manny will hit anything.. he made a few bad pitches, Manny, DeWitt, and Furcal’s HR..

Typical Phillies fan though, ready to go with the “what have you done for me lately” theory, instead of the “dance with the girl that brought you”… Make sure your careful when you jump back on the Moyer bandwagon after his next start though

AND I take a serious glance now at signing a free agent starting pticher to push Moyer to battle for the 5th spot with JA Happ.

Is Fox selling videos of the Phils – Dodgers confrontation because they seem to be doing a lot of promotion last night?

It’ll be the A++ post all star Myers that’ll be out there. He lives for that type of game and he’ll pitch an 8 inning 3 hit 1ER game and take us to the WS.

I like Vic as the “bad-guy” getting booed. I think he will stick it to LA in game 4.

What is up with Manny’s braids? It looks like he took my dogs chew toys and stuck them to his head.

I was not suprised when Moyer got rocked. I had a feeling the stars were aligning and it was going to be a bad day for philly.
