What will the post-parade festivities consist of?

All the players will be there and they’ll have big screens… I’m getting a few! My only concern is… can you make it to both to the parade and the “post-parade festivities”?

Manny, my plan is to do the early part of the parade and then hop the subway down to the stadium…..I already got my tix in cbp, season ticket holder pre sale this is unreal!!!!!

What’s the difference between the two stadiums? Will they just have half the team go to one and half to the other?

Anyone know what stations will be covering the parade, espn, comcast?

Sounds like a good idea Brian. Are you going to be around City Hall first? and then to CBP?

Yeah what is the difference? I may go down early, park my car near the stadium – then get on the subway to see the start then head back to the Linc for the post parade rally! Are they just doing 2 rallys one at each?

    ESPN might cover the parade.

I’ll be at the Linc. Yes!

I guess Jeff Laurie gold standard team needs some money. What the hell does the linc have to do with bb. The Mayor screw up again.

Usually one of the ESPN’s covers it nationwide as well as CBS3,ABC6,NBC10,FOX29 (Yes I have friends and family in the Poconos) as well as every local affiliate.I can’t bear to watch it….but I hope people like the Wilpons,Omar Minaya,Jose Reyes,David Wright, and of course Billy Wagner are seeing what Philly is going through and what could have been for my Amazins.Oh well, have to get ready for halloween and saturday, start looking thru the X-mas lights.

Tried the Linc too and couldn’t find 2 seats together…so that pretty much does it for that. Still hoping my “spot” in the queue for CBP will come thru any moments now…

I didn’t get any. I was in queue the whole time too. I’m pissed. They’re already up on Clist for sale. What scumbags. That is a disgrace.

I clicked to get tix at CBP at 3:01. At 3:07 I got the “sorry, page couldn’t open” thing. At 3:08 I clicked again and I’ve been in queue since….

    :(

Brian, did you get your tix to CBP online or a “presale” kinda thing? Still curious to hear if anyone was successful with this online deal…

I clicked on at 3:01 and after 1hour 10 min, finally got this message….

Thank you for your interest in today’s Phillies World Series Celebration ticket opportunity.

All tickets have been issued for Citizens Bank Park, please go to Phillies.com and try to obtain tickets for Lincoln Financial Field.

    Thank you for your patience!

    OH WELL! Really stinks…

That is complete BS!!!!!!!!!! I’m still in queue but have little-to-no hope that I’ll be able to get free tickets to the celebration! :(

I couldn’t get any at either field!!!!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOO frustrating. :(

I can’t believe that out of 110,000 seats I couldn’t get 1! Especially when going to the website at 3pm sharp! What a scam!

I went on at 3 PM sharp too Manny, and I didn’t get any. Now I see them all on sale on craigslist. What scumbags.

This may seem like a silly question but will they serve beer at the 2 parks? I got tickets today for the Linc and my bf said no alcohol will be served. I am not an alcoholic but I would enjoy a celebration drink…or two…anyone know???

What a bunch of assholes…these tickets are FREE and they go on and sell them online. Frankly, that type of thing should be illegal.

I think it is illegal Manny. It falls under scalping. You can’t sell something for more than 20% of face value. 20% of face value for these tickets is $0.

This is crazy…I’m still in the queue…do anyone think I have any luck?

One of my friends called me and said she had tickets to CBP for the celebration so it looks like I’l be going to CBP!

Anybody know how the parking will be around the ballparks then?

Thanks for rubbing it in, SJ Mike.

Sorry, not trying to rub it in.

I have was able to obtain tickets twice at the linc in the 227 and 243 area. Now I have to split between my kids we will be across the stadium from each other. So what will be going on at the Linc?

PHL Paul, it says that the Linc will have the broadcast of the parade and the CBP ceremonies. And the players then will make a brief appearance at the Linc then.

Do you know how parking will be in the sports complex?

I am flagging every asshole who is scapling the tickets on craigslist, going to make it harder for them to sell tickets that should be free.

Coming down from Pocono’s – season ticket holder – was able to get 4 for CBP – any suggestions re parking are appreciated. Thinking of leaving from up here around 7AM and hoping to score parking @ CBP.
