Pop quiz: Which National League team had the highest production, measured in fWAR (click for definition), from second base in the entire Major Leagues in the last 7 days? How about the last 14 days? It’s the Freddy Galvis -led Philadelphia Phillies. Galvis’s expectations for the year were generally low; the young infielder was expected to be a [...]

Well, other than the part where he says Polanco ‘led off the top of the first’ with a double. Jimmy led off the top of the first with a ground out.

I believe Ryne Sandberg said of Galvis … That he was a guy that wanted the bat in his hands in big situations. Gotta love that …. I pointed out earlier that his numbers with runner on base where a lot better than with bases empty do it might mean he likes hitting off of [...]

All the players will be there and they’ll have big screens… I’m getting a few! My only concern is… can you make it to both to the parade and the “post-parade festivities”?

What’s the difference between the two stadiums? Will they just have half the team go to one and half to the other?

Yeah what is the difference? I may go down early, park my car near the stadium – then get on the subway to see the start then head back to the Linc for the post parade rally! Are they just doing 2 rallys one at each?

Usually one of the ESPN’s covers it nationwide as well as CBS3,ABC6,NBC10,FOX29 (Yes I have friends and family in the Poconos) as well as every local affiliate.I can’t bear to watch it….but I hope people like the Wilpons,Omar Minaya,Jose Reyes,David Wright, and of course Billy Wagner are seeing what Philly is going through and what could have been for my Amazins.Oh well, have to get ready for halloween and saturday, start looking thru the X-mas lights.

This may seem like a silly question but will they serve beer at the 2 parks? I got tickets today for the Linc and my bf said no alcohol will be served. I am not an alcoholic but I would enjoy a celebration drink…or two…anyone know???

What a bunch of assholes…these tickets are FREE and they go on and sell them online. Frankly, that type of thing should be illegal.

I think it is illegal Manny. It falls under scalping. You can’t sell something for more than 20% of face value. 20% of face value for these tickets is $0.

I have was able to obtain tickets twice at the linc in the 227 and 243 area. Now I have to split between my kids we will be across the stadium from each other. So what will be going on at the Linc?

PHL Paul, it says that the Linc will have the broadcast of the parade and the CBP ceremonies. And the players then will make a brief appearance at the Linc then.
Do you know how parking will be in the sports complex?

I am flagging every asshole who is scapling the tickets on craigslist, going to make it harder for them to sell tickets that should be free.
