According to Rich Hoffman in a Philly.com chat, Charlie Manuel has two lineup cards filled out, with the official one to be determined after Pat Burrell finishes batting practice.
If Burrell doesn’t feel much pain in his back after swinging, and can swing, he’ll start in left field. If not, Hoffman reports Matt Stairs will start.

Stairs in LF instead of Werth?.. I thought Stairs only played RF ? ANyway, I’d imagine Burrell plays after getting stretched-out and then shot-up with all kinds of pain killers.. but if Stairs plays, he’ll get a hit or two

I read that too… I heard that after BP he told Manuel “I can go” … so we’ll have to see… I can’t imagine a big playoff game with Burrell sitting on the bench.. that would suck!
