NJ, indeed the American middle class will be taking it on all fours if McCain/Palin steal this election!

I just like who these conservative religious fanatics rant and rave about things like Abortion, but when they had control of things, they never even brought that issue up for a vote.

Or they go crazy about Homeland Security, and cracking down on violence… yet they refuse to look into gun control laws. Is it really neccessary for citizens to be able to purchase semi-automatic weapons, armour-piercing ammunition, etc.. (Columbine HS).. Don’t you think that a background check, including a mentail health screening should be done (maybe preventing the Virginia Tech massacre)

Police Officers in THIS city, shot and killed.. yet people still turn their heads and vote for candidates that oppose gun control laws (because the National Riffle Association funds their campaigns)

I just want people to think.. these things are all related whether you want to believe it or not.. and ANY republican candidate at this point doesn’t really care about the middle class.. its that simple..

I’ve had people actually say to me that DEMOCRATS ARE FOR THE N* words and the poor people… to which I respond that I’m much closer to being poor than I am to being Rich..

Sarah Palin is the biggest joke either party, ANY party for that matter, has ever put out there. The thought of her being president is seriously terrifying. As a woman I always wondered who would be the first female president/vp, but never in a million years would I have believed it could be someone as unqualified and dangerous as Palin.

If I had tickets to the Flyers game Saturday I would certainly be decked out in full Obama/Biden gear!

I’m a registered Republican, and I just refuse to vote that way recently because they couldn’t care less about the Middle Class in America (which im sure 99% of the people on here are..)

I always liked the fact that McCain has balls and actually speaks his mind… but he comes across as just a grumpy old man anymore (and his age and health make the fact that Palin could one become President a JOKE to me).. and McCain serving the country is GREAT (In fact, I think all Presidents should have to do so, fight for your country in order to be able to lead the country)

BUT.. the fact that McCain was a POW shouldn’t give him the automatic right to become President of the United States..

If he showed ANY concern for the Middle Class… I’d probably be a fan of his.. but I’m willing to overlook his experience over Obama because I think its time for a desperate change in our country, and I think CHANGE is more important than just experience right now..

And again.. I’m a registered Republican… regardless of who you vote for.. just go vote because people died just for you to have that right!

(Don- Do you think Palin would actually come off better if she got down on fours and started barking? For someone who was meant to boost McCain she seems a hell of a weak link and I’m saying that as a non-American.)

I’d be sad to see Burrell walk, he’s the guy on my jersey but there’s better bang for the buck out there. I’m intrigued by Ibanez and if the smaller market teams stay true to the youth movement Dunn might not get an extonsionate number, seems a little thin on the stop-gap trade market although wouldn’t rule out Tavarez. Wonder whether moving Howard to left and signing a 1st basement has been thrown around although Howard will never re-sign in Philly as a LFer.

In a full-season, Werth can give you those numbers and you could get him long-term for like $6 -8 I bet… I think they control Werth next year, and then they might have to sign him.
