The red striped quake is shaking LA. Will LA they be able to mount an offense? Will they take their ball and go home? Will Joe Torre say next year before the 8th inning? Will the LA crowd put on their coats, in the 61 degree weather, and go home early? Will Ryan Howard shake the bat and stand back and match Matt Stairs tit for tat. Will I get any sleep tonight? Will the neighbors be mad at me for banging pots and pans like New Years?

Nate, I just came online and read your reply. I like to make a minor correction in your statement on the past history of home field advantage in the World Series.

Prior to 2003, home-field advantage in the WS had alternated between the leagues from year to year. The American League held the home-field edge in 2002, the last year of the “alternating” approach. Because the rules in 2003 were changed which allows the outcome of the All-Star game to determine home field advantage in the WS, the National League has yet to take advantage of the current format, not having had home field advantage since 2001. Personally, I wish they would go back to “alternating” privileges each year.

phil section 302 isnt really THAT nosebleed… plus all the shnooks that have bankrolls heavier than my house scoop up the lower levels for these good games anyways.. i sat 316 for game 1 NLDS (which were great seats) but i sat section 419 for game 2 NLCS… I SAT TWO ROWS OFF THE FIELD ALL SEASON LONG!!! (damn yuppie rich bastards)…
all of those yuppies arent’ real fans anyways phil i would rather sit up higher with the true phightin phans and judging from your ‘fanhood’ i’ve observed on this site for the last 2 months i’d say you would too.
