I called this before the game, i said in the thread from last night that Blanton would pitch well and someone in the middle of the order (Pat The Bat) would come up with a clutch win…so to everyone who was giving up and everyone who said they were watching the eagles, jimmy was dead on about you…to all the die hards like me, LETS GET THE DODGERS!

I dont remember NLCS/ALCS games ever being during the day (within recent years I mean) if it’s on a week day. Can anyone ever recall a NLCS or ALCS game being played while people are still at work? I really can’t at all.

I really think the NLCS schedule will be dependent on who is in the ALCS, because it is very likely they’ll try to accomodate the games for the different time zones.

It wouldn’t make a lot of sense to schedule it at 4pm, because you’d lose substantial TV audience…especially since it will be at 1pm on a weekday in LA. It would make much more sense to put this game at 9pm ET (6pm PT) and the ALCS at 6pm (since it will probably be between East coast teams)

Here is the CNNSI schedule. As you can see, it says Friday is at 4 (which would piss me off, as I am going to this one).

I am hoping that b/c mlb.com has nothing listed yet, there is no way that cnnsi can be 100% accurate.

The ESPN link is interesting. All except one think it’s going to come down to Game 7. I guess I can see why — on paper this is a very good and very even matchup, so we could be in for a real treat. The treat will only be good if the Phils prevail, and Neyer predicts, as it will be a flaming bag of dog poo if we don’t.

Mike, the MLB website still has “TBD” for the times on all games at this point, as do ESPN.com and CNNSI.com from what I can tell. Where on CNNSI does it say 4pm?

I’m so excited about this series! I didn’t think that LA would sweep the Cubs, and we gotta be careful with this hot team. At the same time, I kinda like the fact that we lost a game and came back to win the NLDS. I liked the team’s attitude today and how they reacted right after an ugly playoff loss.

Oh… and Game 2, Myers at bat… you all know what’s gonna happen. :) I may lose my voice!
