There's a reason why George Steinbrenner make his home right here in Tampa. As for you fools that think that your Phillies is #1. The Rays have a better record than your Phillies playing in the toughest division in all of baseball, enough said.

rofl the reason you Philly bitches see roaches in Tampa is because you guys are staying at your snow-birds trailer parks. MacDill is just south of Tampa on a peninsula. Know what you mean about roaches as big as rats. Palmetto bugs and they had wings. Would come into buildings thru any opening they could find and up from the drains in showers and bathtubs. Were rattlers and an occasional alligator too. Will always remember the constant stench that would come off off of the bay. Had nice malls and shopping areas in Tampa but will always remember the constant threat of crime in that city. Many residents had bars in front of their windows in their homes for security and security gates in front of their doors and driveways. Tampa they can have. Truly, the constant heat is terrible down there.

mikemike, I was stationed with the Air Force at MacDill AFB for three years back in 1987-1990. Game 2 should be Joe Blanton, he deserves it.
Game 3 should be Brett Myers, he is better at home and he can hit.
Game 4 should be Jamie Moyer, he is struggling a bit and maybe needs more rest to get ready.Once again. GO PHILLIES!!!!! THEY ARE NUMBER ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go Phillies!!!!

The Phillies will win no matter what, but I think they should change their rotation.

Game 1 Cole Hamels.<br

He sort of puts into perspective how much more there is to life than sports. When you ride around on the back of a truck all day picking grapefruits, I suppose it is that easy to wear sports statistics and the accomplishments of others as your badge of honor.

I don’t know about anyone else but I’d love to hear more from Tuan. He really doesn't know anything about baseball, does he? He picked the BREWERS to beat the Phils? Oops. He must, like most national broadcasters, not think much of the Phillies. Buck and McCarver didn't show us much love, either. And thanks, TBS, for giving us the Brewers play-by-play guy for that series. Oy. The Rays are the popular choice, I suppose because of homefield advantage and vaunted AL superiority, but it seems clear that these two teams are evenly matched and it should be a tight 6 or 7 game series. With the Phillies winning, of course.

Wow. I just read the Rosenthal column. He really doesn’t know anything about baseball, does he?
