This is a song that was written by the David Christopher Band of PA as a tribute to the Phiilies success, and winning the 2008 World Series.

that might be the worst song in recorded history. great sentiment. horrible song. Pat the Bat and how about that? end-rhyme at it’s finest.

Yea, that’s the worst song since humans began producing music. But, I appreciate anything involving the 2008 Phils, so thank you for it.

Great idea….not so great execution….I feel like its the theme song for a late 80′s early 90′s sitcom

    Can anyone say TGIF????

Aaron, how can you not like the original version that you linked? When that came out I loved it, learned all the words. I STILL love to listen to it, because-

“And we’ll go dancin’, dancin’ in the streets, cause we’re the Phillies, and you know we can’t be beat.”

Veteran’s Stadium, the hippest place in town!”

    Great stuff, baby.

hats of the these well defined fans who probably wrote this tune sometime between 80-08 and finally got the change to bust it out.
