Get Your Picture with the World Series Trophy

TrophyThe Commissioner’s Trophy will be on-hand at the Holy Family University basketball double-header against Philadelphia University at the Campus Center (map) on Tuesday, February 24.

Fans will be able to get their picture taken with the trophy in the Campus Center by purchasing a ticket to the basketball games for $5. All proceeds from the evening will go to the go the Father Joseph McCafferty Memorial Scholarship Fund that benefits Holy Family University student-athletes.

Photos with the trophy will be taken from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The double-header starts with the women’s game at 6 p.m. and is followed by the men’s game at 8 p.m.

    this is the kind of writing that bothers me – a reporter making the three-inning game five of the world series the #1 moment of the year, while still taking a dig at Philly fans:

    “And it was an eventful third of a game, packed with big hits, superlative defense and the unhittable slider of Brad Lidge, who set off a celebration of toppled cars and fires and ribaldry purely Philadelphian.”
