I have to believe that Bedrosian is the Cy Young Winner. To Early for Lefty. Oh, and a question, was it Ruffin or Rawley that won the Cy Young? I was very young when it happened. I think it was Rawley.

I like the prediction of Lieby, Boone and Dutch for the Phils catching trifecta. But, given how erudite Tim’s analysis has been, he probably won’t overlook Jack Clements.
The hear you asking, “Who?”
A Phiily native all his life, Jack was the Phils catcher from 1884 to 1887, going 1,038 games behind the plate with 1,114 hits and a lifetime .286 average in the dead ball era.
But even if you consider all that pedestrian, consider this: he was left-handed. This makes him the greatest southpaw catcher in all of baseball.
