I waited for a quiet moment in between several hits and walks, then yelled "you suck Andy." His next time out was the infamous crotch grabbing meltdown in front of the Philadelphia fans. He later commented that he couldn't handle Philadelphia and didn't like it here. Looking back, I'd like to think I had a hand in getting him out of here:-) I remember yelling at him from the stands during one of his last starts for the Phillies. Ashby was supposed to be the guy that helped to solidify the rotation and give them another decent option behind Schilling.Instead just about everything that could have went wrong early did including Ashby. Only thing noteworthy about that year was that it forced the Schilling trade/firing of Francona.
