I went to……Adam Eaton’s start where he gave up a grand slam to Rod FREAKING Barajas….(that place was LIVID). This was the night after I was forunate enough to witness Jayson Werth’s 3 homer/8 RBI game.

I was at the division clincher, then the daty after with Kendrick, then Game 3 of the World Series.

I went to two games last year, the first night game when they lost 1-0 Hamels pitched, to the Nats and the game where Hamels pitched against Santana.

Also, is it just me or is anyone else a little weary that Hamels is getting his first start @ Colorado where its probably going to be in the High 40′s, low 50′s with some precipitation? Why not let Park pitch, and save Hamels till we get somewhere with warmer weather?

I was lucky enough to score tickets to the last two season openers… not so much this year. Hope my absence will spell a different outcome.

Hmmmm… I’m actually really excited to see Kyle Drabek against major league hitting. They’re bringing him up to show him what he is working for… although he’s not ready, they want to remind him that he’s working for the opportunity to do amazing things (like pitch against the Yankees). That’s pretty cool…

talking about seeing the same pitchers, when i was 8-10 years old I went to like 15 games a year in the early ’70′s and I must have seen lefty pitch like 10 of those times a year. Maybe that is why I have never seen them lose while I was at a game. And now I live in Vermont and have going to 1 or 2 games a year saw Hammels twice, and a few years back when Myers was the ace I watched him pitch a 2 hitter against the braves. Now I still live in Vermont and have a season ticket package, so unless Hammes starts every sunday I think my streak is going to end this season, Hope that streak of never seeing them lose live will not. Looking forward to Saturday, and Especially Sunday see you all there GO PHILLIES

I’m cool with Myers. Just hope we don’t lose his 3rd straight opener, but making the playoffs for the 3rd straight year he opens is fine by me.

Rumors have Phils interested in Sheffield and Andruw Jones. Both a big HELL NO! in my opinion.

I still can’t believe Jenkins was cut. We’re now paying over $20M for people to not play for us between Geoff, Eaton, and Thome…ridiculous!

Is this projection accurate? I didn’t think Park would pitch until the 15th or so. Wouldn’t this throw the rotation off a bit?

speaking of watching pitchers repetitively… i think ive been to about 5-8 games since kendrick was called up, and i dont think ive seen anyone except him since. thank God he was sent down

“fantastic”. i get to see moyer pitch…. again. nothing against the guy, but i think i managed to go to like 8 games last year and he started 5 of them. and one was the last game of the year where kendrick started.
