Grapefruiting, Posts, Spring Recap
It was a solid game for many Phillies, as they derailed the Astros, 5-2.
Carlos Carrasco started with a three-inning, four-strikeout performance, allowing a run on four hits and two walks. Andrew Carpenter fared even better, turning in a four-inning, four-strikeout performance with just an earned run and three hits allowed. Dave Borkowski and Mike Koplove each handed in a scoreless inning.
Offensively, Pablo Ozuna was a star, going 3-for-4 with an RBI in the leadoff hole. Jayson Werth smashed his first home run of the spring, and Greg Dobbs added an RBI double. Matt Stairs — also fighting for a 25-man roster spot, went 2-for-3.
Tomorrow the Phils host the Cardinals at Bright House Networks Field. We’ll have live Twitter updates throughout the day.

Stairs made a fantastic running leaping catch. The astro pulled into second and stood there until the ump told him he was out. What can’t he do?
