csnphilly is broadcasting live from CBP and Harry’s memorial service. They are on until 3pm, then showing last night’s game. Since I didn’t get to see it, I’ll watch the opening ceremonies but don’t think I’ll watch that game….

What a fantastic, terribly moving and emotional tribute to a great man and legend. Glad I caught it.

I seriously cried my eyes out during this. This was really something special today. Harry was the voice of my childhood and baseball, this great game we celebrate, will never sound the same. Yet, the game goes on tonight. It’s a great game and we all owe it to ourselves and the best voice in the game to tune in! Play ball!

I could not attend today. I listened on 1210 AM only for a bit, at the end when “A Bridge Over Troubled Waters” was sung – even then, tears flowed.
He meant a lot to this team, to this city. We’ll miss you Harry.
I am really glad that the 7th inning stretch was replaced by “High Hopes”. Does anyone know if this will stay as a permanent fixture? Not a bad idea, the entire stadium was up for that one last night!

Giles said “High Hopes” will remain for the homestand. The “Outta Here” call for a home run is forever.
