Lidge….not too sharp….maybe still hurtin or just not that good…..and whats with Tmac the guy hits a homer off the Lidgeman and he says ….wow that would have been an out in other stadiums….and what he said about Citifield its too big no homers in this place….Howard made it look kinda small with the BLAST last night….the guy has an excuse for everything ….I wonder if he’s dating Andy Reid …as for Moyer he throws nothing but slop…and want s the calls…..not this year everyone knows the line has been drawn for him by even the best of umpires…he’s gonna have to put it over the plate….not the lines outside the batters box…he looks tired anyway…Happ it Charlie…soon….good to see Mighty Mouse get a win hope he doesn’t fall in the shower. Good win tonight, Lidge poor showing does not bother me like some stated earlier, he had outings like this in non save situations last year, and I really do not remember how many 1 2 3 9th innings he had either, if my memory serves me right, I thought he made a lot of saves interesting.
But I regress, good win for the Phils, lets do it again tomorrow, and start another winning streak

I’m just worried that he’s still shaken up from that first BS. I’m sure he realizes everyone blows saves, but I think it might have deterred his drive and confidence a little.

Shag, Hamels hasn’t gotten enough chances to really get stretched out yet. He’s behind the curve in terms of preparation for everyone. So going into the 7th might have been too much for him at this point.

I would just like to know since I have not watched this game yet it is on DVR for when I get out of work, Why not bring Hammels back out for the 7th, only 95 pitches, is it because he skipped a couple of starts, why not give the guys in the pen a rest, and let him get into the 8 or maybe God forbid pitch a complete game

Lidge did the same kind of stuff last year. He’d come in non save situations just to get work and give up a slew of runs. Happened a couple times I remember, so I’m not as worried.
